About the artwork
Hastings, The Stade
This coastal poster celebrates Hastings, The Stade, with an orange fishing boat drawn onto shingle beneath the distinctive black timber net shops. Wheeling gulls, sunlit clouds and bold lettering evoke the tradition of British seaside travel posters, while the weatherboard silhouettes anchor the scene in the town’s fishing heritage. Warm ochre and clear blue bring a quietly nostalgic coastal character to an interior.
