About the artwork
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams
This founding fathers portrait brings George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams together against a deep teal ground. Ivory neckcloths, dark tailoring and russet fabric lend the composition a restrained grandeur, recalling the personalities who helped shape the early American republic. Its painterly character suits a library, study or thoughtfully collected historical interior.
